project's interdisciplinary elements.

A detailed statement describing the College's

plagiarism, and other forms of academic

Developed by the

great general information on selecting topics,

Another helpful
Medaille College Library site that is
organized by discipline and includes numerous
links to a variety of online sources.

A California-based index of great
librarian-selected resources; makes an
excellent starting point for a variety of research
projects, including the Capstone project.

- Opposing Viewpoints Series home page
Published by
Greenhaven Press, the Opposing Viewpoints
series provides carefully edited selections on
a variety of controversial issues, some of which
may be appropriate for Capstone projects.
NB: The College Library collection now
includes dozens of books from the Opposing
Viewpoints series; to browse our Opposing
Viewpoints books, simply conduct a Title
Search in the
Online Catalog using the term "Opposing
Viewpoints."

Published by
Dushkin, the Taking Sides series is another
popular and generally well edited collection on
controversial issues.

A national organization that has promoted undergraduate research,
scholarship, and creative activity since 1987; NCUR sponsors a
large interdisciplinary research
conference for
undergraduates, typically held each spring with a variety of presentation
formats (posters, presentations, exhibits, performances, etc.).
