Buffalo Branchsite

In 2000, as part of the HERD ABOUT BUFFALO civic cultural enrichment project, organized by Burchfield-Penney Art Center and Roswell Park Institute, Medaille College sponsored art professor Mark Lavatelli to paint a buffalo. Consistent with his interest in tree imagery, Lavatelli created "Buffalo Branchsite" synthesizing views of the Medaille campus, including the Main Building and the flagpole. The work is currently installed in front of the North Dormitory.
