HUMANITIES WEB.ORG
This is a young site, but it promises to be a good clearinghouse for Humanities articles written by students and professors.Also offers a chat room and other collaborative services in the Humanities.

Music Theory Online is the refereed, electronic journal of the Society for Music Theory, Inc.. Published several times each year, each issue includes features such as articles, book reviews, and reports from a distinguished panel of International Correspondents. In addition, MTO publishes announcements of upcoming conferences and calls for papers, a list of job opportunities, abstracts of recently completed and in-progress dissertations, and summaries of recently published books.

MEASURE DECISION THEORY
For the mathematically/analytically inclined, here's a page on measurement decision theory. This is a measurement model for classifying examinees based on statistical decision theory. The model is, in many ways, superior to Item Response Theory when the goal is simply classification. This page presents the model and features an interactive module which allows you to try different inputs and see the resulting decisions. Additional resources are provided.

THE META ANALYSIS OF RESEARCH STUDIES PAGE
Meta-analysis refers to the analysis of analyses... "the statistical analysis of a large collection of analysis results from individual studies for the purpose of integrating the findings." This page is intended to help you learn more about meta-analysis by providing you with an overview; links to relevant documents and resources; and free, high-quality software. Maybe a good place for helpful info on closing the assessment loop!

PALS
PALS is an on-line, standards-based, continually updated resource bank of science performance assessment tasks indexed via the National Science Education Standards (NSES) and various other standards frameworks. The tasks, collected from numerous sources, include student directions and response forms, administration procedures, scoring rubrics, examples of student work, and technical quality data calculated from field testing. On-line rater training packets have also been created for some tasks.

The American Educational Research Association - Division J (AERA-J) and the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) are sponsoring this website project.
