PRINCIPIA CYBERNETICA WEB
This site tries to "tackle age-old philosophical questions with the help
of the most recent cybernetic theories and technologies [....It's the ] website
of the Principia Cybernetica Project (PCP), an international organization. The
Project aims to develop a complete philosophy or 'world-view', based on the
principles of evolutionary cybernetics, and supported by collaborative computer
technologies." Which is to say, it's a good resource for philo-heads and
tech-heads alike.
STANFORD ENCYCLOPEDIA OF PHILOSOPHY
An extensive site with hundreds of definitions and articles on philosophy.
THE ALEX CATALOGUE OF ELECTRONIC TEXTS
Numerous texts are available online via links through this Berkeley site. Specializes

a laudable goal, and they take us toward it with this excellent source for clear,

MEASURE DECISION
THEORY
For the mathematically/analytically inclined, here's a page on measurement decision
theory. This is a measurement model for classifying examinees based on statistical
decision theory. The model is, in many ways, superior to Item Response Theory
when the goal is simply classification. This page presents the model and features
an interactive module which allows you to try different inputs and see the resulting
decisions. Additional resources are provided.
